I am back at it

Okay people, I am finally back at entering sweeps. I am going to take it slow for awhile though. I am really concentrating on eating healthier and exercise right now. So I may not be entering a lot of blogs ones at the moment, but I hope to be back at full speed before the end of the month. I did enter a few this morning, and I hope to enter a few more later tonight. So keep your eyes open for more posts about sweeps and contests.

I Won something BIG!!!

Yes, I am still on break! But, I am getting ready to return to my sweeps entering very soon.
So what did I win? Well I won the TravelZoo sweepstakes That ended in November. It was the win 20 trips one, sorry the exact name is not coming to my mind right now. I won the grand prize, the 20 trips!!! There was a cash option, and that is what I took. I took the cash, because well I like cash and because the trips were only for 1 person, and I am not a traveling by myself kind of girl.
This is my biggest win, $5000, and I am really excited about it! I am really grateful for this, we could always use cash, but this was really needed this time of the year for us, since the taxes on our house is due.
I promised you all that I would be back here to post my weight loss blog, so here you go: Changing for Nina , I also added the link to my Blog Roll. Today is the beginning of our family challenge, so make sure you keep an eye on my weight loss blog for updates.
I am also going to be creating a blog that chronicles the people in my weight loss clubs progress. So keep an out for that blog link, coming soon.

Taking a Break!

Well, I haven't been around for awhile, I have decided to take a mini break from entering sweeps. Why? I have entered a ton of contests/sweeps in the past few months, and a lot of those have not ended yet, so since I am still entered in over 900 sweeps, I thought now would be the perfect time for a break, plus I am getting ready to start a new challenge that needed my full attention for now. What is it? Well, I am going to be changing my life for the better, by losing weight and getting into shape. No, this wasn't a New Year's resolution, I had made up my mind to do this months ago, before I ever started entering sweeps, way before the New Year started. I put together a weight loss club of sorts, with my family, we are small club, of only a few members, Myself, My Mom, My brother, My Sister-in-Law, My Aunt, My Aunt's Daughter, My Aunt's Son, and My Aunt's Son's Wife, only 8 members, even though my family is full of overweight people. No one else was interested?? So anyway, we decided to start our challenge on Feb. 1st, giving everyone time to recover from the New Year. So I have been preparing for that, I am the Club Leader or whatever, since it was my idea, and I am sending out emails daily, a weekly newsletter, and organizing everything, like prizes for the weekly "biggest loser" and more. So this has took up a lot of my time, and I just haven't found the time for entering sweeps, but rest assured that will change very soon.
One of my New Year Resolution's is too learn to manage my time better, so as I work on that I will find the time in my day needed for entering sweeps.
I will be starting a new blog, very soon, that will just be about my weight loss journey, it will include daily updates, weekly weigh-in results, and healthy eating/exercise tips and tricks that I find. I will post a link to that blog very soon for anyone who maybe interested in that.

Hello, Santa!

Did you know that your kids could get a call from Santa? I had no idea that someone was offering this kind of thing, but someone is, and I think it is just the greatest idea ever.
I know that my Wild Child would love to get a call from Santa. But I think that my nephew would be the most amusing to watch/hear on the call with Santa, he is 5 and I can just imagine the talk he would have with Santa.

Walk this Way

My wild child has loved shoes since the day she was born, I did this to her as I too have always had a love for shoes. My love for shoes started because I have big feet so I was always looking for the coolest shoes I could find in my size, and when I found a store that carried my size, I would then buy as many pairs of shoes that I could afford from said store. At one time in my life I had over 50 pairs of shoes, not a lot I know, but my size is hard to find (that are affordable for me).
When my daughter was born, I became obssessed in finding her shoes, and it was so easy, she had these perfect little feet and shoes were easy to find, so by the time she was a few months old she had maybe 15 pairs of shoes. Now that she is older, she doesn't have quite as many maybe 20 pair that she can wear right now, and 20 pair that she needs to grow in to.
I am still in love with baby shoes, even though Wild Child isn't a baby anymore, so when I see cute baby shoes I just want to buy them for my niece or my friend's baby. I don't always buy them, but I will drool over them so today I hear about this great site, that has the cutest little shoes for babies and toddlers, you just have to check it out:Jack and Lily, Baby Shoes, Toddler Shoes, Infant Shoes, see didn't I tell you just too cute.
